Background

Location : Various, Rockingham | Western Australia

Over a 3 year period (March 2017 to March 2020), The City of Rockingham in Western Australia has purchased and installed 25 x GFS-STEALTH solar lights across six different locations.

The City of Rockingham is committed to environmentally sustainable lighting solutions, so have trialed numerous options from various solar lighting suppliers. Where possible, they also consider retrofitting solar lights where mains powered lights fail due to underground cable faults.

Solution

The GFS-STEALTH has become a product of choice for pathway and community area lighting, with several installations ranging from the Baldivis South Sports Pavilion car park on Eighty St to various pathways and the Don Cuthbert Reserve. As an all in one unit, the GFS-STEALTH is versatile. It will fit onto multiple pole types or a wall mount bracket, so finding a solution to best suit the application is easy. A design utilising a military grade solar panel, die-cast aluminium chassis with TIGER Drylac marine grade powder coating, and stainless steel fixtures, means the Stealth is an ideal choice for coastal areas.

• Product Supplied: 25 x GFS-STEALTH Solar Lights for Pathways & Car Park applications.

Outcome

The City of Rockingham are pleased with the performance of the GFS-STEALTH and continue to work with Green Frog Systems for other projects.
