Green Frog Systems announces new Chief Executive Officer appointment as Founding CEO David Wilson transitions to CTO role developing next generation solar technologies for the company.
Green Frog Systems, a leader in the solar lighting industry, is thrilled to announce the appointment of its new Chief Executive Officer Douglas Bolzon in a strategic move to drive product innovation and engage in industry consultation on international solar lighting policies. Founding CEO, David Wilson, will transition to the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This shift aims to support governments worldwide in achieving their ambitious net-zero emissions targets by 2030.
David Wilson: A Pivotal Role Change
Wilson’s innovation focus will leverage his extensive experience and expertise in the design and manufacture of advanced Solar lighting technology, that offset greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to a sustainable future.
In his new capacity as CTO, his primary emphasis will be leading the innovation team towards the cutting-edge advancements in advanced battery, solar, and LED technologies currently under development by our internal R&D divisions, and subsequently introducing them to our expanding global market. In addition to his dedication to product innovation, Wilson will proactively collaborate with international policymakers, championing the adoption and implementation of solar lighting standards worldwide as a pivotal mechanism in combating climate change.
