Description
GFS-400 solar street light
The GFS-400 is a rugged solar street light engineered in Australia for road class lighting where a grid connection is too costly or impractical. Twin 225 Wp monocrystalline panels (450 Wp total) on a hot dip galvanised Q355 steel pole power an LED luminaire at 45 W, 60 W or 75 W, delivering up to 8,545 lumens all night.
It is used on roadways, intersections, car parks and perimeter security areas, and on remote construction, mining and local government sites. Poles are available at 6 m, 9 m and 10.5 m, with single or twin arms and fixed or slip base foundations, so the same system suits a car park or a roadway.
Storage is two sealed GEL 24 V batteries (2,640 Wh) as standard, or LiFePO4 48 Ah modules at 1,229 Wh each. Advanced Power Scaling (APS) holds a set brightness through the night and trims LED output only if the battery will not last until morning, giving an estimated 3 to 7+ nights of autonomy.
LEDiL T3 optics are standard, with T2 and T5 square available to suit the road layout, and 4000K, 3000K or 590 nm turtle friendly colour temperatures. Each system is backed by a 5 year complete unit warranty, and optional lighting designs can be prepared for the site before supply.
